Updates on yesterday

Before we have updates on yesterday's news breaking stories, let's take a look at a future blog post. Take a moment to ooooh and aaaahhh as we check out Oliver who was dropped off at a rest stop in South Carolina and rescued by my step daughter, Kelly. Actually, after we took him to the vet's office, at 5 weeks old, we were told that he was a girl, so Kelly changed his name to Angel, then when we took him back the next time, they told us he was a boy, so his name went back to Oliver. It was really a blessing for him to be neutered as he was getting VERY confused (he didn't know whether to meow in a high pitched or low pitched voice) and his folder is still pink at the vet's!!

WARNING: If you are going to make ANY sense out of this post (good luck) it is important to read yesterday's post!!!! This means YOU!!

For those of you who were worried about my marriage due to that really older flashy dressing woman thing Michael had going on...well, fear no more, as you can see he is now love stricken with a frog...
actually, it's more of a consoling thing, don't you think? As a matter of fact instead of my wearing the garlic cloves, I put them in his home made chicken soup and he's all mine (well, mine and the frog's) again!
Sad to say, Eileen failed to give me a specific date for the Irish song fest, so now what am I supposed to do with all these kilts? And what about her husband and the bagpipes? He's probably bawling his eyes out, (such a nice guy, too).
Never heard from Bernie either, so If I were you, I would not send any sick people or animals her way just yet.
Also, if you noticed in the comments from yesterday, Linda really does want pen pals and that means if you use pencils you're no pal of hers!
And what about Renna, you may ask? Where is she? She may be crushed by my insensitive references to her sensitivity, but just know, Renna that I AM sensitive to the fact that you are sensitive to what you think is my insensitivity but it masks MASSIVE sensitivity...if anyone understands what I just wrote please translate for me.
But one of the very MOST crushing and devastating things, though is that Amy failed to give me her magic decoder ring so I can re-do her Blog...Amy, it's not too late, I'm here for you!
As for Diana, well, my tears are still flowing as my next 33 dinners were supposed to have been provided for by her.

I know that you are all VERY anxious about the fish emulsion, but it is still raining here and you know it is impossible to deal with fish emulsion when it is raining(and for those of you who didn't know, NOW you know). Yes, I know it isn't raining everywhere, BUT we do have to respect the emotions of all of those who can't (namely me) deal with fish emulsion and rain. The rain is supposed to stop before next week or Christmas, so hang in there as there is even a picture ready and everything.

Lastly, I leave you with a totally irrelevant picture (as usual), but it's those baby goats again and who can resist? This is a different goat from those you saw before and you can tell because I am wearing something different (this happens AT LEAST once a week/month).
Tomorrow's post will be a bit more solemn, but with some humor as it is the anniversary of my sweet mother's birthday, so I will be praying and reminiscing with love.
This ongoing blessing for today is one of wonderful people who have crossed and blessed the paths in our lives, most especially, mine. Thank you Lord and please bless all of these people.

New Information, suitable for all ages

Hi and welcome to new and little known facts...please read and enjoy:

Linda, who thought having a new pen pal could be fun, has decided to draw the line and have NO more pen pals (so don't write to her, please).

After having cared for her nephews children with one of them getting pretty sick, Bernie had so much fun and has found a new vocation and wants everyone to send her their sick (even if it's only mental) children, husband, dogs, cats, etc.

Eileen has graciously volunteered to give us lessons on Irish hymns (and maybe one or two hers) and melodies that no one (that means me) can find anywhere on the web (I'm hoping they are not pretend). Her husband (such a nice guy) will be playing the bagpipes for us while we're all dressed in kilts.

A neat thing is happening with Diana who has had a challenge or two with a baking episode gone wacky. She will now be giving gourmet lessons to everyone (that means you) for free in her home and we will get dinner and everything!

An amazing thing has occurred and Renna has sworn off eating at her computer or under it or even in its presence (I think she thinks that it can see her and snitch).

You will all be thrilled (well, maybe only somewhat amused) to know that Amy, the computer whiz, is begging me to give her some tutorials on how to do her blog and add smiley faces and go into HTMLs randomly. IN fact, if I'm not mistaken, her last e-mail said that she was turning her whole site over to me!! WOO HOO!

Now, here is my Michael (and me) on the solemnity of his Confirmation, in front of the church. I had no idea he was doing this until Kelly started laughing after taking the picture! Maybe I shouldn't have dyed his hair red for the occasion because some of it obviously seeped into his brain! Now you can see part of my problem...he feeds my own craziness which was already over the top!

Happily here is my older (very skeptical of the safety of blogs and pictures etc.) daughter's first blog picture that would meet with qualified approval (after all you can see the clock and some other "incriminating" stuff). Boy, if she ever goes to blogland I will be in REAL trouble, but I love her!

Well, among the many traumas of today is the one where Michael is leaving me for an very attractive older woman who dresses with pinache (I think that means sprinking spices on her clothes, hoping you will smell them and not see them). As you can see, so far, they are only engaged, so maybe he will come back to his senses if I start wearing garlic cloves (he does love garlic).

This is all part of a (hopefully) cute little APRIL FOOLS' POST!
Thank you Lord for the blessings of good humor, laughing at ourselves and treasuring all things You have given us.

Interim post

What, you might well ask yourself is an interim post? That's a very GOOD question and we'll both know when I finish this. Although I am guessing that it is when I haven't downloaded my food pictures from St. Patrick's day and need a "filler". How about if I insert a random picture to hold your interest? Let's see.......

That worked out pretty well, as brand new baby goats are always a winner...can you tell I was ecstatic?

Or here's a baby llama giving me a kiss, but you do have to use caution as llamas will also spit and I will not go into detail because Renna (one of my wonderful followers) has a weak stomach and she eats at her computer. So this lack of description is for you, Renna, so eat to your heart's content.

These pictures were taken at my friend Mimi's house and Mimi is absolutely amazing. She had five goats and five llamas, but has pared down to just three llamas which she does all the care taking for, such as giving them worm medicine etc. (I helped out a few days ago, but steered clear of llama kisses because they were not happy campers). Mimi also has a HUGE garden, two dogs, two cats, every plant that was in the garden of Eden (0r pretty close), she hosts a weekly prayer group (which I go to), is busy in the Master Gardeners, swims and walks two miles several times a week, is very active in our church and has a ready ear for anyone....she WORRIES that she is slowing down!~!! By the way Mimi is 77!!! I told her, yeah, she's slowing down to what a vigorous, healthy 35 year old couldn't do!

Just in case you haven't smiled yet...here's Tinkabelle ready to party, so if you have a party, please invite her...

Seriously, I truly thank God for being able to hold baby goats, hug baby llamas, have wonderful friends like Mimi and knowing, too, that there are so many marvelously good people like yourselves reading my crazy interim blog...soooooo many blessings!
